The Power Of FUN- Celebrating 50 Years Of Ear to Ear Wheelies. Half a century, it’s pretty cool how far we’ve come. When I started the Flying Machine Factory back in 73’ we were just a bunch of California kids obsessed with racing motocross. The faster we went the more fun we had. I’ve always liked mechanical things, so I naturally took to tinkering which led to making exhaust systems and bikes work better. Throughout the decades one thing has never changed, we come to work every day to help make riding dirt bikes more fun for everybody. The sound, smell and feeling you get when twisting the throttle is something that just can’t be replaced. It has been one heck of an adventure innovating, engineering, manufacturing, riding and racing. Thank you for being part of our family owned and operated business, and we look forward to continuing to deliver quality products. Here’s to roosting through the next decade. 1973 was about revolutionary firsts. Zeppelin, Floyd and the Stones were setting the world ablaze. We tasted our first Lite beer, rode our first Jet Ski, and Don Emler lit the torch sparking one of the most influential brands in motorcycle history. In his mind he is ALWAYS RACING.
